Music is my first real love. It’s at the center of everything I do.
As part of the clergy team at Temple Isaiah I have the immense privilege of creating extraordinary and meaningful music with some remarkably talented human beings. Prior to rabbinical school I worked as a cantorial soloist at synagogues and Jewish organizations in Northern California. But long before that, I was super into musical theater in high school (favorite role: Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress), co-founded UC Davis’ first all-female a cappella group - The Spokes - and sang with multiple rock bands. My dream is to one day front an all-female AC/DC cover band called Girls Got Rhythm.
